Materials Technician
Seeking a Highly motivated individual who is able to achieve their key job responsibilities with little or no supervision, be proactive and have a flexible approach working in a very busy industrial environment whilst maintaining the need to adhere with procedural adherence. To work directly with Operations, Health & Safety and provide cover and support as and when required
To assist with the site to site control relating to storage, transfer, inspection, calibration, test and maintenance of specific tooling & equipment. As part of the purchasing team you will need to understand and be able to apply all our clients procurement processes and work toward continuous improvement, developing innovative ideas to help improve systems, communication and material flow.
Candidates must also possess the following attributes:

Knowledge and Skills Required:
Computer Skills – All Microsoft Office Programs, SAP & Passport Navigation.
Understanding of a busy Stores/Logistics function.
Knowledge of steam turbine/generator plant and/or Engineering plant & equipment.
Knowledge of Industrial Health & Safety and World Class Quality Assurance Practices.
Qualifications:
Valid ECITB Safety Passport.
GSCE Level C (or above) – Maths, English & Sciences
FLT licences.
Full Clean Driving Licence.
